LODGING

Joplin has many fine hotels and motels to choose from.  We recommend the La Quinta Inn, which has courtesy transportation to and from the airport, a restaurant and lounge in the hotel, and is within walking distance of other restaurants.  We will be happy to make your reservations for you, or if you would prefer to make them yourself, their phone number is (417)781-0500.  Be sure to mention that you are coming in through Mizzou Aviation so they will give you the crew rate).

If you do not want to stay at the La Quinta Inn, there are other hotels/motels available.  Some of the more popular ones are listed below with their phone numbers.  Please note that the La Quinta Inn is the only one that provides courtesy transportation.  The majority of all hotels in Joplin are approximately eight miles from the airport.

RENTAL CARS

If you or your passengers will require a rental car while you are in Joplin, please call us and we can reserve a Hertz rental car for you.  You can pick up your Hertz car right outside our front door and drive it around to the ramp to unload your baggage.  

CATERING

Whether you need catering for your passengers or crew box lunches, we can assist you with your catering needs.  We can get catering for any meal, from bagel, fruit, or sandwich trays to individual meals.  Please call us to place your catering order.

CONFERENCE ROOM

Our conference room provides the perfect setting for your meeting needs.  We have a state-of-the art teleconferencing systems and for presentations, we have an overhead projection screen, white board, TV, and VCR.  There is room for ten people around our conference table and there is no charge to use the conference room.  If you would like, you can order catering that we will have delivered to your meeting.  Please call us if you would like to schedule our conference room for your meeting.
